"Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da for Tuba/Euphonium Quartet" is fun to play and will be a great hit with your audiences. The range of the Euphonium parts do not go past G above middle C. The 1st Tuba part can be played on an F, Eb or C tuba. The 2nd Tuba part can be played on a Bb or C Tuba. The length of the arrangement is about 2:40. The Euphoniums and the 1st Tuba all get an equal share of playing the melody. The bass line is divided between the Tubas so the 2nd player gets a fair amount of rests. Have a look at the score and listen to the audio file (pages 3 and 4 of the score, 30 secs.). Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da is a piece you will perform on a regular basis. If you are going to program one song by the Beatles, this is it.
