This setting by the prolific Walter Ehret would be an excellent way to teach the tune, hanover to assemblies or to serve as an extended choral prelude-type introduction by the choir. The three stanzas are cast in a late baroque/early classical figured bass style with the second verse arranged with traditional SATB a cappella voicing and soprano descant. A great chance for a rehearsed choir to enjoy the hymn all on its own!
