O Little Town of Bethlehem

This arrangement of 'O Little Town of Bethlehem' is an arrangement of the tune that Ralph Vaughan Williams set with the words of a carol written 20 years previously in Philidelphia. Vaughan Williams collected the tune in Surrey and named it 'Forest Green' for the village he collected it in. He combined it with the words of Philip Brooks and this is version that is popular in the UK (and if wikipedia is to be believed Ireland, Canada and Australia)

This is a fairly gentle arrangement suitable for beginners looking for a challenge or for an intermediate quartet it should be an easy but engaging sight reading excercise.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
