Composed by Gustav Holst. Arranged by Monika Durbin. 20th Century,Classical,Romantic Period,Sacred,Wedding. Score and part. 4 pages. Monika Durbin #165263. Published by Monika Durbin (A0.555694).

An expressive, moving arrangement of the hymn tune Thaxted for flute and full-sized lever harp (or pedal) harp. This arrangement is in the key of Bb major with no lever or pedal changes. The flute part shows off the player's lyricism in both the low and high registers. Thaxted is most recognized as the chorale theme from Gustav Holst's The Planets (Jupiter). This melody is also known as the hymns O God Beyond All Praising, O Spirit All-Embracing, or I Vow To Thee, My Country. Includes a harp score (3 pages) and a separate flute part (1 page). Piano can be used in lieu of a harp by omitting the glissando in m. 41.
