Guter’s arrangement of the Horace Silver classic was written for Vocalogy’s 2005 release, Distilled, and has been gently adapted for advanced-intermediate groups. This version is identical to Vocalogy's with the sole exception of revisions to the introduction and its sinister recurring vamp. The update, reflected in the sample audio demo, is subtle and vocal groups and rhythm sections will still enjoy a good challenge. The arrangement alternates between the Brazilian-flavored baiao and swing, and is set to a clever and humorous lyric. There is ample space for improvised solos with two unique sets of vocal backgrounds over this classic, accessible form.
