Violin II provides harmonisation to the melody. Piano accompaniment is from the original piece. However, it is played with 2 hands, instead of the left hand only. This is easier for beginners. Towards the end, there is an optional octave higher for the Violins. It is technically challenging on the violin and is not essential. "I'll Second This" is a series of arrangements where Violin II is added to harmonise the melody. The arrangements can be played without Violin II, with just melody and accompaniment. The pdf contains Full Score and Set of Parts (Violin I, Violin II, Piano).
