My Little Goldfish Is a 32 measure song about your pet goldfish who swims in the fishbowl saying “Blub! Blub!” The song is set in D Major and includes versions with accidentals and versions with a key signature. From the start, you can easily teach and review intervals with students such as steps and skips up to 5ths since the song begins with a descending motive with both hands and these intervals are included throughout the song as well. The song is structured so you can teach the first page of the song, then easily add in the second page even though there are some slight melodic differences.

Depending on where your student is at level wise, we’ve included two different versions of the song that you can use:

• Version 1 with regular note heads with accidentals.
• Version 2 with alpha note heads with accidentals.
• Version 3 with the D Major key signature with regular note heads.
• Version 4 with the D Major key signature with alpha note heads.
