A very simple arrangement of My Heart Will Go On for very elementary piano player. The song could be taught by rote after only one or two lessons or with attention to notation after a few weeks of lessons.
The shortest rhythm is a quarter note (crotchet). Some half note (minim) rests are used. Most rests are omitted to draw the student's attention to the melody line as it passes between the two hands. A few simple ties are used (no syncopated rhythms).
Lots of fingerings are offered throughout. The hands remain lined up next to each other, in a 5-finger position throughout the whole song. A repeat mark is used and some simple dynamics are offered (obviously, not obligatory!)
A different, very simple arrangement is also available with an accompaniment for the teacher or an intermediate standard player.
