Packed with meaning from beginning to end, this hymn opens up with melodic lines which strongly hint at the piece's theme (faith), then proceeds to unpack the idea through each verse repetition and through transition into a medley. The flute part is delightfully simple and easy to learn, but it also includes some rhythmic variations to maintain performer and listener interest. The piano part is also fairly simple, but in some areas may be a bit more challenging than the flute part. Unique to this Silverflute arrangement is the addition of lyrics--the text to the hymns are written in underneath the notes, as an assist to the performer who may be a little unfamiliar with the verses.
