Published by S'got Possiblities (A0.1036871).I wrote this string orchestra piece for a middle school orchestra that had a cello section that needed a chance to play a melody, any kind of a melody! Everyone is in 1st position the whole time, and it would be considered a grade 2 piece. It has a kind of Italian feel to it, and I named it for a certain rose bush that we had growing at my home, and it turned out to be a kind of musical description of the flower. Little did I know that the Multi Flora Rosa is considered an annoying weed by most gardeners. Who knew? The picture of the rose is from my sister’s front yard and is just a rose by another name!
