Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Xaver Süssmayr. Arranged by Quoc Tran. Classical. Score. 3 pages. Quoc Tran #6684753. Published by Quoc Tran (A0.776260).

An easy/intermediate piano solo arrangement of Lacrimosa from Mozart's Requiem in D minor.

This is probably Mozart's most famous haunting melody. Mozart supposedly only wrote the first 8 measures and the rest was completed by Franz Xaver Süssmayr, a Austrian composer and friend of Mozart. There are many piano arrangements of this piece, the most well known is by Sigismond Thalberg. Most of them are fairly advanced level. This arrangement should be a lot more accessible to intermediate players with smaller hands. There are no octave reaches.
