Moving Thirds is an intermediate two mallet study for mallet percussion (xylophone, marimba, vibraphone or orchestra bells). The piece is designed as a supplemental short solo that allows students to work on their mallet percussion skills in addition to their regular lesson books. Double stop thirds move up and down the keyboard providing nice harmony mixed in with the faster single note melody runs. This piece is also included in the collection "Seven Studies for Solo Mallet Percussion Volume 2".

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
