Composed by Guillaume Dufay. Arranged by Tara Borchert. Classical,Renaissance,Sacred. 22 pages. Tara Borchert #29611. Published by Tara Borchert (A0.904137).Originally for four voices, the Kyrie and Gloria from Guillaume Dufay's Missa "Se la face ay pale" has been orchestrated for three flutes and alto flute. Guillaume Dufay's work bridged the Medieval and Early Renaissance periods. He was one of the most popular and influential composers of the mid-15th century. While all his sacred music is vocal, the timbre of the flute lends itself very nicely to early music vocal works. To keep it as true to the original as possible, no dynamics have been added and are left to the performers' discretion.
