“Miryang Arirang” For Violin and Piano Op.226
The representative Korean folk song “Arirang” is already well known all over the world, and “Miryang Arirang” is also one of the famous Korean folk songs that deserves to be known to the world. Citing this theme, I tried to breathe new life into a work that the violin and piano can play. The composition of the song consists of the violin playing the cadenza first, followed by the theme of “Miryang Arirang,” followed by four connected variations, and a coda (the ending).
It works great for Concert where special violin music is desired. Arranger is very experienced(with I Musici), and his works are very loved world widely. And, especially, Shown Bowing sign and Fingering will be very helpful to player.
