Composed by Marc-Antoine Charpentier. Arranged by Andrew Schneider. Baroque,Classical. Score and parts. 1 pages. Andrew Schneider #2837969. Published by Andrew Schneider (A0.930747).

This is a minuet in which Diana's nymphs are delighting in the pleasures of being alone in the woods.

When I played this minuet for Operativo Houston's production of Acteon, I knew that this minuet would be a very good candidate for a Baroque easy keyboard piece that can be as easily accessible as anything from the Bach Anna Magdalena Book.

Students can play the top version (ms. 1-16), with only the outer two voices, the bottom version (ms. 17-32), with all three voices once they are more secure in technique, or both.
