When The Lord as a baby came to earth,
And angels appeared to proclaim His birth,
The humble and lowly heard the call
To find the Lord in a stall.
May we like shepherds of old seek for The Son.
May we find Him in serving the one.
When a star in the heavens shone anew,
A prophesy known only to a few,
Drew wise men to travel from their lands
With gifts to give from their hands.
May we like wise men of old bring forth a gift.
May we give as we reach out and lift.
When the Lord in His glory comes again
To banish the dark, put an end to sin,
The angels of heaven all around
Will sing in glorious sound.
May we like angels above let the heart sing.
May we ever be praising the King.
