4, 5 octave handbells - Level 3
SKU: JF.MFLHB268
Composed by Wales. Arranged by Robin Benton. Published by Flagstaff Publishing (JF.MFLHB268).The vigor of full-bodied handbell sound aptly expresses the passion of this Welch marching song. In the 15th century, English Kings were keen to subdue the Welsh people and introduce English laws and language into Wales. At Harlech, the English army met with stout resistance that is remembered in the defiant words of this song which is still sung with pride by Welch choirs today. It is exciting music, available in separate editions for 3 or 4-5 octave requirements. All arangements may be played together for festivals or workshops.
