Trio based on an old English folk song (The Mallow Fling. This was originally written for flute, viola and cello (also available on this site). This version with cor anglais/English horn was created specially for a group called Trio da Capo.

Treading swiftly, treading lightly,
Dance the Fling at Mallow.
O, the dancing through the town,

Priest and parson, king and clown,
