The band's singer wrote this "straightforward love song" as a wedding present for his then-fiancé, making it a perfect choice for weddings, receptions, and cocktail hours, along with pop concerts, solo & ensemble contests, and any other occasion that needs some upbeat alternative rock! This arrangement for violin and cello duet maintains the exciting drive, soaring melodies, and instrumental hooks of the original, and it will be just as much fun to play as it is to listen to. In terms of melodic and technical difficulty, this chart is intermediate level, but I'm listing it as advanced-intermediate due to a number of interesting tied and syncopated rhythms throughout the parts.
