Derek Hasted writes "Featured in the film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' and covered by dozens of artists, no two versions are identical! This is a proven arrangement for four guitars (or a large ensemble) and it's packed with 'call & response' phrasing with plenty of interest for all the players. There's a sudden key-change in the middle which adds hugely to the enjoyment of playing (and hearing!) this arrangement. Arranged for players with modest experience, this piece locks together tightly to make a low-risk crowd pleaser in any concert! There are no page turns and all the parts are nicely under the fingers.
Guitar 4 is supplied in treble and bass clefs, suiting a classical guitar with bottom string tuned to D, or a contra or bass guitar in normal tuning. In a large ensemble, having a mix of normal and octave Guitar 4 parts will make the sound even bigger...
