Composed by Bill Monroe. Arranged by Camilo Barahona. Contemporary. 3 pages. Camilo Barahona #5997207. Published by Camilo Barahona (A0.901389).

Hey there, this is Bill Monroe's "Lonesome Moonlight Waltz" in the style of Kenny Baker. I have carefully written in bow markings that map out what I feel is a smooth way to play this amazing tune. In some areas you'll see fingerings that take you into 2nd position for certain chords, which might be ideal for players with smaller hands. You'll see in the video that I just stay in 1st position except for section D, E, and the very end - it really depends on hand size, dexterity, and personal preference. Also included is a chord chart for guitar accompaniment where you'll see chord "shapes" for a guitar capo'd at the 5th fret. I'm a violin teacher so feel free to reach out if you have any questions and I'd be more than happy to help you out in any way I can.  .
