It imitates the sounds of the traditional Chinese Lion Dance performed during the celebration of the Chinese New Year: the cymbals, a gong, and a drum. This is an easy piano piece that can be thought even to late elementary students. A perfect recital piece. The percussion notes in both parts indicate a hand slap on a piano wood - more fun to play! Total performance time is two minutes.
