By Marlene Dietrich. By Norbert Schultze. Arranged by Edward Berden. Contemporary. Octavo. 15 pages. Edward Berden #5792255. Published by Edward Berden (A0.1016704).

Lili Marleen" (also spelled "Lili Marlen", "Lilli Marlene", "Lily Marlene", "Lili Marlène" , is a German love song which became popular during World War II throughout Europe and the Mediterranean among both Axis and Allied troops.

The song was previously written in 1915, during World War I, as a poem by Hans Leip. The song was published in 1937 and was first recorded by Lale Andersen in 1939 as "Das Mädchen unter der Laterne" ("The Girl under the Lantern").
This arrangement, for SATB and Piano tries to set a different mood for in every verse.
I hope you enjoy it.
