The first section is lyrical and beautiful with an original melody in the piano while the organ has the title melody. This section is challenging because the piano is in triple meter while the organ is in duple. This creates a nice syncopation. The second section is a toccata on the melody with many running sixteenth notes. The two players will have to work hard to be in sync with each other for this second section. .
