Performers, such as The Youngbloods, Jefferson Airplane, Richie Havens, Joni Mitchell, etc. understood (and were drawn to) the power of Power’s message of “love versus fear”. “Let’s Get Together” has proved, by its longevity, that it still resonates with those who still believe in equality and freedom for all… This arrangement takes Power’s masterpiece down to its basic components – a simple melody, and strong lyrics – and is set in a hymn-like setting to be sung by an a cappella chorus of 4-part men’s voices [GALA choruses].
