Composed by Ferne Tudor Franz. 20th Century,Celtic,Contemporary. Score and parts. 16 pages. Village Flutist #5033233. Published by Village Flutist (A0.1032355).

"Leap & Rejoice!" is taken from a suite of incidental music I've worked on based on the allegory "Hinds Feet in High Places".  The story is of a disabled and deformed young woman who, accompanied by her employer, the Chief Shepherd, takes a long journey through perilous and challenging conditions, and finally endis up on mountain peaks, fully victorious over her trials, and healed of her infirmities.  This work depicts her awaking up and finding great joy in the healing.  I wrote this for six flutes, but it can be expanded for a full flute choir/orchestra, and accompanied by a bodhrun.
