Handel first used this tune as a Sarabande in an early opera, and again as an Aria in an oratorio, but it is most famous as the beautiful soprano aria from his hit opera 'Rinaldo'. The 1st and 2nd flutes share the melody in this arrangement, supported by the Alto flute bass line.
