This setting of the hymn "Lamb of God, Pure and Holy" (O LAMM GOTTES, UNSCHULDIG), BWV 1095 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) was likely composed early in his career while he was the organist at Arnstadt. Bach's setting of this tune by Nikolaus Decius (c. 1485-after 1546) is here arranged for Brass Quartet. The arrangement includes an optional French horn that doubles the Trombone 1 part.
