Composed by Gabriel-Marie. Arranged by Sylvie de Lyon. Classical. Score and parts. 66 pages. Sylvie de Lyon #49601. Published by Sylvie de Lyon (A0.962080).

For her final conducting exams at the Kreato School of Music in the Netherlands, Sylvie de Lyon made an arrangement for full concert band of the piece La Cinquantaine from Gabriel-Marie (1852-1928). The remarks of the head of the department were: "You should publish this piece." So, here it is! La Cinquantaine means the Golden Wedding. It is a nice classical piece that makes you wanna dance! Originally the piece was composed for piano and cello. Now the oboe plays a nice solo in this arrangement. If you’re orchestra doesn’t have a oboe player, the trumpet can play the solo.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
