L'Italiana in Algeri

This is a welcome addition to any opera score library, especially those interested in Rossini's operas. There are many various editions of this opera out (the Schirmer score is quite excellent), but having one where the music is what Rossini wrote, with any changes he wrote, an embellishments that he provided for the various arias is a great experience. Like all critical scores, it gives a great deal of information, but how it would be performed is left to the singers and producers of the opera. But what a wealth of music is there. And finally pretty much correct.
