In "Kaleidoscope," the first in a series of "Israeli fusion music" collections, pianist, songwriter and accordionist Shmuel (Mula) Sajavich presents a veritable tapestry of music treats from his experience as a performer in the ethnic/world music scene of Israel. Inspired by Maestro Giora Feidman during the yearly seminar "Clarinet and Klezmer in the Galilee" in Safed, Mula started composing hundreds of melodies. He brings to each tune his unique style, and authentic story and phrases without words. He enables us to connect in a direct way to his inner voice and soul. Sajevich has devoted the last two years to composing instrumental tunes reflecting the Israel of the last forty years, creating a unique Kaleidoscope - maintaining his Jewish roots from Lithuania and at the same time incorporating the idioms of the rich multi-cultural melting pot of Israeli society.
