Great for a Christmas or Holiday Concert for a percussion ensemble or as a percussion feature at any band concert. There are 5 mallet percussion parts that require orchestra bells, xylophone, vibraphone and a 4 octave or higher marimba – two marimba parts can be played in the same instrument. The marimba 2 part is written in bass clef and an optional treble clef version is also included. Sleigh bells are featured several times and the remainder of the group plays snare drum, bass drum, crash cymbals, wood block and cowbell. This arrangement is ideal for middle school, junior high or even high school groups that want a real audience pleaser.
