By Stuart Brown. By Stuart Brown. Arranged by Stuart Brown. 21st Century,A Cappella,Christian,Easter. 8 pages. Stuart Brown Music #994410. Published by Stuart Brown Music (A0.1412170).

A beautifully light and joyful original setting, in neo-Elizabethan style, of well-known words translated in 1708 by John Baptist Walsh from the hymn 'Surrexit Christus Hodie'. Ideally to be sung by four soloists (SATB) but would work when sung by any competent mixed choir. The composer writes: "It was on Easter Sunday morning in 2024 that the idea of writing a new setting of these words came into my mind, as if fully formed. The actual composition took me no more than one hour ... and immediately it felt *right*. Certainly it puts a smile on my face every time I hear it!".

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
