Composed by L. E. Bolden. Children,Contemporary. 23 pages. Lyndsay Bolden #1750145. Published by Lyndsay Bolden (A0.1003329).

Lewis Carroll is most known for Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass. Jabberwocky comes from the latter. The Jabberwock is defined as the physical manifestation of the deepest level of fear in the human psyche. Knowing this definition, I tried to make my choral setting of this text feel like a battle, particularly by using rhythmic whispering in the 10/8 section. I decided to accompany this piece with percussion instead of piano because I felt it would add the sense of urgency. To hear a live recording, you can go to https://lebolden.com/scores/.
