Composed by Joahann Joachim Quantz (1697 - 1763). Arranged by Pat Spence. Baroque,Chamber,Instructional. 24 pages. Piper Publications #997715. Published by Piper Publications (A0.1416039).

The first of a set of 6 Duettos Opus 2 has been edited and notation modernised to suit present day performers. A few obvious wrong notes have been corrected and phrasing made consistant. The three movements, Allegro, Larghetto & Presto, were written for two equal players - the originals being Quantz, the teacher and King Frederick (the great) of Prussia.

Players of intermediate standard will enjoy the interplay between the parts.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
