The Intermezzo from Act III of Manon Lescaut is a 5-minute interlude that ties the second and third acts together. It is very expressive, lyrical and portends the tragedy yet to unfold in the finale of Act IV.
This wonderful arrangement by Vikentios Gionanidis is appropriate for advanced performers and is scored for traditional brass quintet. Trumpet parts are supplied in C and B-flat.
