Part of the monumental "Silver and" series of the 70s, this record features Horace's regular front line (plus Ron Carter and Al Foster) supplemented by the Alan Copeland singers. The titles are all exceptional and feature riveting solos by Tom Harrell and Bob Berg (especially). The cuts contain rich harmonics married to very nice ensemble singing (and some of Horace's best lyrics).
