Composed by Richard Audd. 20th Century. Score and parts. 57 pages. RMA Music #2013239. Published by RMA Music (A0.1002966).

The name, Herman Goering, still means "death". But his admission at the Nuremberg trials proved to be prescient. This is an anti-war piece from 1970. This work was first performed at the Eastman School of Music in 1970 as part of a monthly composer forum. I had pre-recorded it for the session. The recording had to be played twice as well as have the lyrics passed around for certain individuals to be satisfied with the meaning. The four vocalists (1 alto, 2 tenors, 1 bass) use sprechstimme, half spoken, half sung, within the area/range of each indicated note. An unedited piano reduction is also included in the parts.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
