Composed by Gustav Holst. Arranged by Craig Leland Sparks. Christmas,Classical,Religious,Sacred. Octavo. 9 pages. Craig Sparks Music #781013. Published by Craig Sparks Music (A0.1181178).

Gustav Holst's carol, In the Bleak Midwinter, doesn't often get a lot of attention, but the beautiful melody is worth some extra attention. In this arrangement, that beautiful melody is set against a more bitter and stark accompaniment that contrasts the warmth of the melody with the biting cold of the text. This piece was arranged for the Gracenotes, a women's choir comprised of senior citizens at the Riderwood Senior Living Facility, and takes the ranges of senior voices into consideration.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
