This is a melancholy little piece for piano and voice inspired by that feeling you get when you're rather down and you simply don't feel like going anywhere or doing anything. I was feeling particularly depressed and unmotivated one day; so much so that I didn't even feel like going to jazz band (which is saying something). In the few minutes before jazz band started, I took some time in a practice room to try and put my feelings to music, and "I Am Not In The Mood For Jazz" was born.
