The lush sustain and slow tempo of the original will always be a problem on guitar, but I have introduced some movement into the inner part to create the illusion that the chord work is sustained throughout.
In this one edition you will find the material to play two arrangements - one for three guitars (Guitars 1,2 and 3), and a second for 4,5 or 6 guitars, where each new part starts off in unison with one of the trio parts, but then develops as the piece progresses to give a thicker, more robust texture.
As the extra three lines are divisi lines, one can add all or just some of them - so this single edition will suit 3, 4, 5 or 6 players. And of course a large ensemble will develop a bigger, more impressive sound yet.
