The longest of the 8 which Dvorak wrote for piano. I've arranged these for flute - the most common piece from the 8 is number 7 - often known as 'The' humoresque. Originally intended to be dances all 8 are full of both passion and dancy fun. This is one of my personal favourites of the 8 with some wonderful little themes throughout. However - you have to play this with the passion that Dvorak originally intended otherwise the piece will be flat and could feel a little boring to the person playing. This piece goes from ff to pp very quickly and this gives the sudden emotional changes which make this piece truly amazing. I also have a backing track available here on SMP if you don't have / want an accompanist.
