The lyrical Welsh folk tune 'The Ash Grove' is the setting for this lovely set of exercises. Set in the Key of D major, the low not is low c# and goes up to high f#. The cheerful setting for the arpeggios and ornaments should keep the student happily improving their technique. The last verse is a written out duet, with both parts together and an extra copy of it included for your friend to practice.
