The story is set in Hawai'i and as such incorporates Hawai'ian culture into the story frequently. The movie opens with the song "Hawai'ian Roller Coaster Ride," performed by Mark Keali'I Ho'Omal. This arrangement by Mark Lewis is for six part Men's Ensemble, including a vocal percussion part. It was written as an assignment for Pentatonix's Fall 2021 arranging class.
With a call and response feel, the incorporation of Hawai'ian language lyrics, and a simple vocal percussion part, this arrangement is ideal for a group of intermediate singers who are looking at joining the world of a cappella music.
