The Christmas season is my favorite time of the year – especially the music! Every time I listen to a song, a new idea for an arrangement pops into my head and I just have to get it written down to share. This version of “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” has a mix in of “Joy to the World” at the end because I can only imagine what songs of joy the angels sang that quiet night. The constant 8th note beats use plenty of octaves and the ending has running octaves to watch out for as well. Set in the key of C Major and then moving to the key of D Major to finish off. Perfect for an early advanced level pianist to enjoy and perform at any Christmas recital or church event!
