In addition, it may be sung as a carol response to the reading of Luke 2 as it is found within the context of a Lessons and Carols Service or as a festival work at the opening or close of a Christmas Concert. The arrangement provides an opportunity fo the many and varied musical resources of a parish to be united in a single offering of praise and adoration during the Christmas season. Also available sold separately: Choral Score (CGA900), Reproducible Parts (CGRP2) Voicing: One or two SATB ensembles, unison or SSA treble ensemble, congregation, brass quartet (two trumpets and two trombones), handbells (4 octaves), and organ Composer: Michael Burkhardt and Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847).
