"Happy Together" is a 1967 hit single by American rock band The Turtles written by Garry Bonner and Alan Gordon.

Finally, your Woodwind / Wind Quintet is able to enjoy this classic oldie! Everyone gets to play the melody: bassoon, horn, clarinet, oboe and flute!

This arrangement explored the tonal palette of the wind quintet by rewriting the first four notes in the chorus in an antiphonal effect. There is also a triplet accompaniment weaved into one of the melodic passages, paying homage to the triplet swing feel of the song.

For this Woodwind / Wind Quintet, the original F# minor has been arranged to G Minor. The chorus is interesting in the Mixolydian mode and the song ends on a Picardy Third.
