Composed by George Frideric Handel. Arranged by Ray Thompson. Classical,Concert,Standards. 33 pages. RayThompsonMusic #2072135. Published by RayThompsonMusic (A0.553325).

The Water Music is a collection of orchestral movements, often published as three suites, composed by George Frideric Handel. It premiered on 17 July 1717 after King George I had requested a concert on the River Thames. Originally written for large symphonic wind forces, the first suite is in the key of F. (It is thought Handel added string parts later. This is the Allegro often numbered 3, but the individual pieces do not have any set order. I have arranged it for concert band in Eb, making it slightly lower for the 2 horn soloists.
