By Lee DeWyze. Arranged by Alison Gillies. Rock. 16 pages. Quartetpad.com #3114579. Published by quartetpad.com (A0.512008).

Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, arranged for string trio (violinv, violin 2 or viola and cello) by Alison Gillies.

Written by in 1984, Hallelujah has been covered by just about everybody from Jeff Buckley and Bob Dylan to KD Lang. Although Cohen reportedly wrote over 80 verses whilst working on the song, this arrangement for string trio has pared it down to only 4, with each instrument taking its own turn with the melody, beginning with the cello, before all joining together in the final verse.
