This arrangement is a wonderful opportunity to practice playing expressively, with the slow-moving melody and sustained left-hand notes. Such a classic piece to add to your repertoire! This version is the most complex out of the 3 levels, with many lever changes, dynamic variations, and large jumps in the left hand that can be tricky to coordinate with the right hand.
Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Late-Intermediate. The right hand has a slow-moving melody with some rolled chords and overlapping brackets, while the left hand has many big jumps from the low range of the harp to the middle range which can be tricky to land accurately. There are also many lever changes throughout.
Type of Harp: For big harps, 33 strings or larger.
Range: Lowest note is D almost 2 octaves below middle C, highest note is A one and a half octaves above middle C.
Levers/Pedals: In the key of D major (F#s and C#s needed). Many F and C lever changes throughout.
